Things 3

Things 3, the sleekest designed to-do list app for Mac, is currently on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The app, by Cultured Code, has received rave reviews from outlets ranging from The New York Times‘ Wirecutter to MacStories and even won the Apple Design Award.

Things 3 is currently on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with a 30 percent discount on all of its apps.

One negative about Things 3 is that users have to buy the app for each device they intend to use it on, meaning you’ll need to buy three different Things 3 if you want to use it across the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. However, unlike some of its competitors, users only need to pay for Things 3 once for each device. There’s no subscription. Black Friday is the one time each year that Things 3 ever goes on sale and those savings can help soften that multi-app purchase blow.

Readers can buy Things 3 for Mac for $34.99 instead of $49.99, for iPhone for $6.99 instead of $9.99, and for iPad for $13.99 instead of $19.99 until Dec. 1.

Cleanshot X

Take a lot of screenshots? How about screen recordings? Do you make GIFs too?

Cleanshot X is another much-talked about Mac app staple that does all three of those things and then some. Along with taking screenshots, Cleanshot X can also be used to annotate those screengrabs, as well as automatically copy text from a screenshot too. Users can also pin screenshots to their desktop for reference, taking automated scrolling screenshots of long webpages, and much more.

Cleanshot X is currently on sale for Black Friday on its website for $20, marked down from its usual $29. However, there’s an even better Black Friday deal for Cleanshot X via the Unclutter app’s annual Black Friday collection. Cleanshot X can be bought via the bundle’s website for $14.50, making it half off of its usual price. For $76, the entire 12 app collection can be purchased, which includes Cleanshot X, Unclutter, DaisyDisk, and more.

Yoink

Yoink a little Mac utility app that becomes so handy that once you use it, you’ll be astounded by the fact that Apple hasn’t built this into macOS already.

Yoink brings a little pop-out shelf to your Mac’s desktop that can be used to temporarily hold files while moving documents around to different folders or windows. It makes dragging and dropping so much easier.

The app usually sells for $8.99 on the App Store. However, it can currently be purchased for less than $3 as part of BundleHunt’s 2025 Black Friday bundle.

PastePal

Everyone needs a good copy-and-paste manager for their Mac. Even better if that clip board manager has an accompanying iOS app that it syncs with. Enter PastePal.

PastePal is a universal clipboard manager that allows users to easily access their copy-and-paste history. Users can find everything they’ve ever copied on their Mac whether it be text or media. PastePal visually shows them that history based on a timeline or by category of what it is they copied. There’s also a pop-up sidebar for quick access to their most recent clipboard history.

Plus anything you copied on your Mac is available on your iPhone or iPad and vice versa as well.

PastePal is currently 50 percent off for Black Friday so you can get PastePal for all your devices for only $7.99.

Subscription Day

Netflix, HBO Max, Paramount+ – are you suffering from subscription overload?

Subscription Day is a Mac app that helps you keep track of all your subscriptions and their due dates right from the Mac’s menu bar. The calendar format helps users see exactly when each subscription is due and how much they’re paying for them so they can save money and cancel any unwanted subscriptions before they are charged for them.

Subscription Day is the newest of the apps on this list so it seems like a work-in-progress, feature-wise. But, its current Black Friday sale puts the app at 50 percent off and $5.99 will also get you the upcoming iOS version of the app, so it’s a good deal.

Bartender 6

Speaking of your Mac’s menu bar, Bartender 6 will help you manage all the apps you have in there.

The menu bar is one of the great Mac features that allows you to quickly access apps that take advantage of it. However, Apple doesn’t really let you do much in terms of menu bar management and things could get out of hand once you have too many menu bar apps. Bartender 6 lets you hide apps in the menu bar, group them for easy access, and even change the style.

Bartender 6 usually sells for $20 but is currently 20 percent off for Black Friday.
