Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how USN.HUB ("we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Platform. It is intended to support transparency requirements under applicable data protection laws, including where the EU/UK GDPR, U.S. state privacy laws, or similar regimes apply.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect and process categories of information including:
- Account and authentication: Solana wallet public addresses, cryptographic signatures used to verify login, usernames, profile and bio text, avatars, cover images, and preferences you set in the app.
- Content and activity: Posts, media uploads, messages where enabled, follows, reactions, purchase or payment-related records needed to provide features, and reports or moderation records.
- Technical and security: IP address, device or browser type, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, diagnostic logs, and anti-abuse signals.
- Communications: Information you send when you contact support or respond to notices.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate users, provide and improve the Platform, personalize your experience, operate search and feeds, process transactions you initiate, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms and community standards, comply with legal obligations, and communicate with you about the service.
4. Blockchain, Solana, and Public Data
Wallet addresses and confirmed on-chain transactions on Solana (and data indexed by third-party block explorers or APIs) are public by design. We do not control the Solana network or those third parties; their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We cannot alter or erase data that has been committed to public ledgers.
5. Third-Party Services
We use infrastructure and service providers (for example hosting, databases, content delivery, media processing, search, email delivery, and analytics or monitoring) to run the Platform. Those providers process data on our instructions and under contractual safeguards where required. They maintain their own privacy notices for their services.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are essential for login, session security, CSRF protection, and core functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies for cross-site ad targeting.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, security, and operational requirements. Some logs may be retained for a limited period for security and debugging. Blockchain records may persist indefinitely outside our systems.
8. User-Generated Content, Reporting, Blocking, and Moderation
USN.HUB is a social platform. We provide in-product tools so you can help keep the community safe, consistent with the user-generated content expectations described in the Solana dApp Store Publisher Policy:
- Report: You may flag content or profiles that violate our policies or Terms & Conditions for review using the reporting features built into the application.
- Block: You may block other users where that feature is available, so they cannot interact with you in the same ways as before and your experience can exclude their presence as the product allows.
- Moderation: We may remove, restrict, or refuse to host content or accounts that violate our Terms or that constitute "Restricted Content" under applicable store and community standards—including, for example, illegal activity, hate speech, harassment, or other prohibited material—after investigation where appropriate.
9. Your Rights, Account Deactivation, and Deletion
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data we hold, or to object to certain processing, subject to exceptions (for example where we must retain data for legal reasons or where blockchain data is not under our control).
How to delete or limit your application-layer data
Account deactivation in the app: You may deactivate your account using the account deactivation function in the application settings where available. Deactivation withdraws your public presence from the Platform in line with our Terms & Conditions (including how purchased content and on-chain records are treated).
Verified deletion requests by email: To request deletion or correction of personal data we hold at the application layer (for example profile information, posts, and media we store that is not immutably on-chain), email support@usnhub.com from an address we can associate with your account, with a clear description of your request. We aim to process verified requests within thirty (30) days, subject to legal and security obligations, technical feasibility, and the need to preserve records necessary to honor licenses or access already granted to other users who purchased content from you before any deactivation or deletion.
10. Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell personal data as that term is commonly defined under U.S. state privacy laws.
11. Minors
The Platform is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies under local law) without verifiable parental consent. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it from our systems where required by law.
12. International Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers consistent with applicable law.
13. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
